Grand Prix de Monaco 1956
A classic black and white photograph from Life Magazine's archive collection featuring the starting line-up at the 1956 Monaco Grand Prix. The prints are available to buy unframed or you can add a frame from our range of on-trend slim profile designs available in a choice of colours and materials.
The picture was taken in 1956 by Thomas McAvoy and shows the eventual race winner Stirling Moss in the centre car number 28, a Maserati 250F. He is flanked either side by two Ferraris driven by Juan Fangio, car number 20, and Eugenio Castellotti in car number 22..
